What do I become a co-owner of?
When you become a member of ByteShares, you become a member-owner of ByteShares Andelsselskab.
You are not buying a separate part of one specific digital product. You become part of the shared ownership of ByteShares and of the activities, products and solutions that sit within the member-owned structure of the cooperative.
Every member has one vote.
Ownership through membership
The ownership exists through your membership of ByteShares Andelsselskab. Membership does not automatically provide direct ownership stakes in a specific individual product or in a specific AI City environment.
The ordinary economic rights of members follow the applicable articles of association, the membership terms and valid decisions.

- other approved activities in ByteShares
Value created in a member-owned structure
Because ByteShares is a cooperative, this value is created within a member-owned structure. When ByteShares creates economic value through products, services, licences and other activities, the value is created in a company that the members own together.
Future products require development. Milestones are not guaranteed, commercial success is not guaranteed, and future distributions to members are not guaranteed.

What do I get as a member?
Co-ownership
You become a member and member-owner of ByteShares Andelsselskab. You are entered in the membership register and receive a member number, a membership certificate and member-owner status.
Influence
One member. One vote. All valid members have the same basic voting weight under the applicable governance rules.
Member value
The aim is that members gradually gain access to relevant ByteShares and AI City services on particularly attractive member terms.
Membership, the membership register, the member number, the certificate and the voting right apply once your admission is approved. Broader AI City services, eIDspot, VPLedger, ByteShares DLT, VPL / Vimples and TIB are planned and are never shown as operational.
