In plain language: eIDspot is ByteShares' planned layer for verified digital identity. It is intended to connect the right verified person or organisation with the right digital account, membership status and documentation. The principle resembles the idea behind digital identification such as MitID — but eIDspot is not MitID and does not replace MitID.
