- What exactly am I buying?
- Nothing is being sold as an investment. You apply for membership of a Danish cooperative society. Membership gives you one cooperative position, one vote and a documented, verified membership.
- What does membership cost?
- Annual Membership is DKK 1,200 per year in Denmark and EUR 160 per year internationally. Founding Lifetime Membership is DKK 9,000 or EUR 1,200 for a first membership and participation period of ten years.
- When does my membership become official?
- Your membership begins officially when your admission has been approved, your payment has been registered, and you have been entered into the ByteShares membership register.
- Does Founding mean free membership for life?
- No. Founding Lifetime Membership has a first membership and participation period of ten years. Lifetime does not mean free membership throughout the person’s natural life.
- Is the Founding profit pool a guaranteed payout?
- No. The first 10,000 qualified Founding Members collectively participate in a defined pool corresponding to 20% of qualifying future profits — profits, not revenue. There is no guaranteed distribution, it is not automatic equity, and legal, tax, accounting, reserve, compliance and governance conditions apply.
- Does the ledger launch when member 2,500 joins?
- No. Genesis is a funding reference of 2,500 verified Annual Members intended to support the first controlled infrastructure MVP. The full ByteShares DLT does not launch automatically at member 2,500.
- Do tokens give me more votes?
- No. Neither VPL nor TIB grants any additional voting rights. Every verified member has exactly one vote.
- Is the digital account a second membership?
- No. It is the operational digital representation of your existing verified membership. The certificate remains the legal proof.
- Can a permanently closed account be reopened?
- No. Permanent closure is irreversible. The account cannot be reopened, reused or transferred, and the old key cannot reactivate it. Historical ledger records remain as immutable audit trails.
- Does closing my account end my membership?
- No. A closed or empty DLT account does not complete a legal withdrawal. A formal request is also required, and any eligible repayment is handled under approved terms.
- Do I get shares in AI City or a ProductCo?
- No. You are not buying a digital apartment in one particular city. You join the cooperative foundation intended to develop and support several AI City environments and modular solutions. Membership does not automatically provide direct ProductCo or AI City shares.
- Which language is authoritative?
- Danish is the default and authoritative language. English is provided as a fallback for convenience.
