VPLedger is planned to handle compliance, permissions and execution on ByteShares DLT. A VPLedger account is the prerequisite for on-chain actions.

What VPLedger does
- Registers verified identities from eIDspot
- Enforces compliance and permission rules
- Keeps a history of on-chain actions
- Links membership status with the digital account
- Becomes the operational proof of on-chain participation (planned)
Important reservations
- VPLedger is not operational today.
- The certificate remains the full legal documentation.
- Tokens alone do not make an anonymous person a member.
- Digital governance and digital distributions require both official membership and a verified VPLedger account.
