From membership certificate to verified on-chain participation.

You have one membership. It is first registered in ByteShares' official membership register and can later also be documented through a verified account on ByteShares DLT.

The certificate is the legal proof

The certificate is issued by ByteShares Andelsselskab, CVR 46337107, and refers to your member number and your active period in the membership register.

Once ByteShares DLT is deployed, the same membership can also be documented through a verified digital account. That is not a second membership.

Before DLT deployment

The official documentation consists of:

  • An approved membership application
  • The membership register
  • The payment record
  • Your member number
  • A membership certificate with a certificate number
  • Articles of association and membership terms
Phase 2Planned

After DLT deployment

The member may activate a digital account through:

  1. Member number
  2. Certificate number
  3. Active membership status
  4. eIDspot identity verification
  5. KYC/KYB or relevant compliance checks
  6. A VPLedger compliance account
  7. Acceptance of the DLT platform terms
  8. An identity-bound membership credential
  9. Activation of the relevant VPL and TIB capacity

The matched digital confirmation

When ByteShares DLT is operational, member rights in the digital ecosystem work through a match between your official membership registration and your verified on-chain account.

Digital activation is missing or incomplete.

Digital position requires action

The digital position no longer meets the required criteria.

Important to know

  • The certificate remains the legal and administrative documentation.
  • The digital account becomes the operational proof of on-chain participation after the transition.
  • The certificate alone does not authorise on-chain actions after the transition.
  • Tokens alone do not make an anonymous person a member.
  • Digital governance and digital distributions require both layers.
  • The member must be the same verified person in both layers.
